Director Ed designed and built this home for his family by extensively altering an existing cottage. There was a good deal of planning work involved to maximise the potential of the house and its plot, and a series of applications was required to arrive at the finished article. The house includes opening glazed corners and level threshold details in the social kitchen space and garden, glass balustrades for the stairs, a large side-and-rear extension, and rear box dormer.
