colony is proud of its diverse staff and believes that great things come from multiple perspectives. we all have our specialisms and everyone brings their unique set of characteristics to the team.
and that leaves just Ed & Stu... Ed & Stu founded colony in 2012 with the aim of creating a collaborative practice with a focus on design and a personal approach. 12 years later the team has grown but the ethos remains the same - we still love to create great buildings and places and we love to work with the people who use them.
vacancy:
we are currently looking for part I and part II staff.
successful applicants would be ready to work, with prior experience in practice and (for part II) a good grasp of technical detailing. working in REVIT advantageous. while these posts are open now, colony is always interested to hear from talented individuals of any level to collaborate with long-term. by all means drop us a line to see how we can work together.

social events:
the team enjoys regular office social events and our meeting room became host for a poker night. everyone managed to keep the shirts on their backs and the long-term players did not manage to successfully read the novice's "tells".
music:
Also, as part of our work with the Black History Mural at the Central Club we collaborated with Culture Mix and took the office along for one of their drumming sessions. thanks to Mary for arranging this and running the session.
sports:
our clients at SmashPadel run the UK's fastest growing sport, so we had to have a go. we took the team along for a day at the Biscester site and all survived "without injury". thanks to Paulo and Patrick for arranging this.
