Colony were approached to bid for architectural services in connection with CPGC’s proposal to fully replace their existing clubhouse with a fully modern and state-of-the-art facility including bars, restaurant, function space, and golf training rooms. Colony quickly assembled a team of bid partners, put together a package which fully appraised and costed the preliminary information, and together we won the bid and took the project on. Feasibility phases were completed to assess the proposals, and various design options were put forward and tested with the CPGC Board of Directors. The preferred design was taken and developed into a sleek, but subtle insertion into a complex landscape.
“we wanted a new Club House on our existing site – not easy when your neighbour is an 18th century listed Mansion House.
Colony delivered with sympathy to our history and surroundings, a 1st class modern Clubhouse for members and guests alike.”

“Colony took a professional approach and won the bid through clear presentation and attention to detail. The public engagement process went very well, in part due to their creative suggestion of VR experience through members’ mobile phones during the COVID crisis.”
