feasability
Colony was asked to provide a feasibility study for a complex site in Portsmouth Southsea. The site had planning permission to refurbish the existing building but the project viability was questionable, leaving the site vacant long-term. The amount of vacant frontage had a significant detrimental impact on the townscape. The feasibility study showed several alternative development proposals, ranging from how to optimise the current consent, to total re-thinking of the site. In this case, the most ambitious scheme was chosen for exploration.
